Project 15 Pan Round 2 Intro

Hello lovelies, here is the promised part 2 of my Project 15 Pan. I want to get through 5 of these and then I will switch it up again. I'll just get right into it. Like last time I split the products between makeup and skin/hair care products.

ELF Lip Exfoliator - I really need to get through this. I am not too big a fan of it, so I want it out of my collection. I prefer to just make my own lip scrub.

Lather Ultra Light Face Lotion - I picked this up thinking it would be a full bottle but when I held it up to the light it is only half full. I really want to start getting through all my sample products like this and I feel without project I wouldn't do it.

Nuxe Reve de Miel - This is a gel makeup remover cleanser. I am excited to give this a try, but I hope it doesn't break me out.

Garnier Blackhead Eliminating Scrub - I kept this product in from the last round.

Mary Kay Botanical Effects Toner - I have had this for way too long and I need to try and get some more use out of it.

Doo Gro Mega Thick Growth Oil - I just really want this out of my collection. The bottle is really sticky feeling and I can't get it cleaned. Plus oils make me nervous when I just leave them in a drawer.

Mario Badescue Facial Spray - I just ordered a new one of these and since it is starting to warm up I think I can get through this a bit quicker. Also like I said before, I like to use this to prep my face for my makeup.

Bath and Body Work Intense Moisture Body Butter in Warm Vanilla Sugar - I have had this for way too long and I really need to get it out. I love the smell of this and it lasts so long on my skin. I can only use it at night though because it is really thick. I want to use it while it is still a bit cold because there is no way I could comfortably use this in the summer, especially because the scent makes it feel like winter.

NYC City Proof 24 hr eye primer - I want to try to get some more use out of it and I already had it pulled out into my rotation so I thought why not. It works well enough, but it is broken so I want to use it before it pops out and I lose it!

Elf Lip exfoliator - I don't have too much as you can see from the marking.

CVS Brow Pencil in Taupe - another roll over product.

Essence Lip Liner in In the Nude - I am not the biggest fan of this pencil. I think I need to get more use out of it to really know though.

Tarte eye shadow in art in Montmartre - The goal is to hit pan on this. You can't really tell from the picture, but I am close. I have been loving this all over the lid and blended into the crease. This shouldn't be too hard to hit my goal on because I am pretty sure that it is my favorite shadow of all time.

NYC BB Creme Instant Matte - I have been using this with my Garnier BB cream because that one is too dark and can get a bit greasy. This tones down the color and actually helps with mattifying.

Jouer cream highlighter in Tiare - This is such a pretty highlighter and I have neglected it. The goal is to actually finish this whole thing up, but I have no idea how much product is in here. Hopefully I can say that I actually finished a highlighter by the end of the year!

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze - I really want to finish this up. I made it really far with the last project this was in. I am starting at the red line.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Brightener - Anotehr one that I want out of my collection. Once it gets to be Summer I will be too dark for this and I don't want to have so little left until next winter.

16 products to work on. I will be getting through these relatively easy I think since I actually like a lot of these. Also they aren't too big of samples.

Project 15 Pan Update # 2

Hello lovelies, I have my second update for my project 15 pan. I have managed to finish 2 more products, and I know that in a couple of weeks I will be done with a few more of them, however I have decided that I am going to start up with new products. I will speak more about that when I post it up. As for right now I want to get into all the products I have here.

I finished the Simple Micellar Water and I decided to get rid of the roller ball of the Calvin Klein Endless Euphoria. I am not such a huge fan of the scent on either one of these products.

Soap and GLory Hand Food - I am really having to squeeze to get the product out of this. I will be really happy when I am done with it because I don't like that it doesn't smell the way that it originally did anymore. However my hands are always really soft!

Garnier Blackhead Eliminating Scrub - I have been really enjoying using this. I don't know that it really does much for my skin, but it is more along the experience of using it. Not many of my exfoliators tend to foam up a bit like a cleanser.

Be Fine Daily Moisturizer - I am so close to finishing this up! I like the sunscreen smell that it has, is that weird? It isn't an exceptional moisturizer so I don't know that once I finish it I will try a find it to purchase a full size of it.

Doo Gro Mega Thick Growth Oil - I only used this once. I really need to just buckle down and get through it. Once less thing cluttering up my space you know?

Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair - This would have been done and over with, but I couldn't wait to get into the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle that people rave about and so this got pushed to the side. I will get through it though since it only has about one maybe 2 uses left in it. Also I really like the smell of this.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray - It has been actually cold here and so using this is asking for my face to freeze over. I love this facial spray though so there really is no rush to get through it. I like to use it when I am prepping my skin for makeup.

ELF Brush Cleaner - I barely used this. I have so many brushes at this point I just put the dirty ones in the to be washed pile and call it a day. I prefer to deep clean them over something like this.

Evelyn Iona Cream Blush in Ash - This is really pretty either on its own or with a blush topped over it. It lasts all day on my cheeks. That is one of the reasons I am willing to have the added step of a cream blush.

CVS Brow Pencil in Taupe - I used more of this in the past month than I did in the first one. I realized I really can't leave the house unless my brows are on. I like the look this gives my brows, the blonder look.

Covergirl lipstick in Rush - still working through this.

Wet n Wild Contour Palette (goal hit pan on highlight shade) - the smallest fleck of pan. I like using this to set my concealer or on top of the powder after I set my concealer because it gives it a brighter effect. Sometimes when I'm feeling a bit fancy I use it to clean up my contour, but that's not too often. I will repurchase this palette a hundred times over because of how much I like it.

So, there is my update on how I did on this project thus far. It has been a couple of months now with this project, and I am ready for a new round of products. I have finished 6 products in total from my original list, which I am going to only count as 5 since 2 of them I just chose to get rid of them. While I will pull some items from this project into the next one, I will definitely be trading others out. I need to make better choices on my makeup because for this project the goals were a lot of hitting pan and not actually finishing anything up. This is something that I am definitely going to consider when I choose my new products. I am not sure yet whether it will be another 15 pan or if I should switch it up to 10 because that is all I need to finish before I meet my goal and allow myself to get 3 months of boxycharm. I do know that once I finish another 5 products from that list I will trade up the products again. You should all see that post real soon, meaning hopefully within the next day or so!

Finish 7 by Spring Update #2

Hello lovelies, time for my second update for my Finish 7 by Spring project pan. I am happy to say that I have reached my goal on 2 out of my 7 products. I'll get right into it!

I have hit pan on the contour color in the Wet n Wild Contour palette and in the Wet n Wild Reserve Your Cabana "bronzer". I plan on continuing to use these over the next month to see how much bigger the pans can get, but for the purposes of the project, they are done!

Wet n Wild - Coverall Powder - My pan is growing and growing every day! I don't think I will have too much trouble finishing this up for next month, but I may have product around the rim of the pan. I hope I can get through it all though. I don't plan on repressing it since it is such an inexpensive product.

Dr. Brandt Pores no More Primer - I think I have less in this tube than I think I do. I really can't wait to get through this because I don't really like it. I don't know why people have been obsessing over this lately, but it really isn't for me.

CVS Brow Pencil sample in Brown - This is the one product that I am sure I won't get through. It is alright and I will continue working on it.

Maybelline Babylips in Yummy Plummy - I made the mistake of throwing this in my purse, and I didn't get much use out of it. I have it on my desk now though so I am sure I can get it really close to being done of not actually finishing it in the next month.

Rimmel East End Snob lip liner - I have just the littlest bit of this left. I have no doubt that I will get through this without a problem. I just need to make sure I am actually using it and not straying to my other lip liners like I have been.

Overall, I think I can finish 6 out of the 7 products that I chose out. That would be really exciting for me since it would be my most successful project that I have done so far! Happy panning lovelies!

Book Tag ~ Reading Habits Tag

1. Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

~ I usually read in bed. Sometimes I need a change of scenery so I read on a couch in my living room, but usually it is just while I'm in bed.

2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?

~ If I have a bookmark available I will use it, but because I start and pause so many books, well there aren't enough bookmarks. I typically go for a sticky note over a random piece of paper though...you can never be too sure if it will fall out or not!

3. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/ a certain amount of pages?

~ I like to wait until I at least reach a break in the page if I can help it, but I always aim to at least finish the chapter before putting it down.

4. Do you eat or drink while reading?

~ I drink a lot while I am reading because for some reason I get so thirsty, but I only eat when I am really hungry and need some snacks. Or if I am reading something that is really working my anxiety, then I have to snack to keep from having a full blown panic attack.

5. Multitasking: Music or TV while reading?

Music. I don't get how people can read and watch TV at the same time. Maybe my attention span just isn't long enough.

6. One book at a time or several at once?

~ If you have followed any of my Current Reads posts then you know that this is several at once. I have been trying to get into the habit of just sticking to one book, but that didn't last long because sometimes I feel like reading YA, other Science Fiction, Fantasy, or whatever strikes a chord that day. I don't mind being enveloped into may stories at once!

7. Reading at home or everywhere?

~ Usually at home, but I can read everywhere. I do listen to audible when I am on the go sometimes because it is easier than reading an actual book, but I would always choose having a physical copy in my hands.

8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?

~ I always read silently in my head, probably because I don't want people to hear that I do have to go back and reread a passage or 2 because my mind drifts elsewhere while I read sometimes. If is something that I have written I read aloud so that I can hear that it makes sense though!

9. Do you read ahead or even skip pages?

~ I read ahead sometimes, but that is when something major is about to happen and I am too impatient to wait to see what happens. I always go back and read everything that I have skipped and I never go beyond the page that I am reading to see what is ahead.

10. Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

~ If it is my personal book I don't have an issue with breaking the spine because I feel like it is much easier to hold and read that way. I even fold the cover to the back as I read sometimes. If it doesn't belong to me I keep it the way I found it, and since I borrow most of my books from my sister and she is obsessive compulsive when it comes to her books I always try to be extra careful to return the book in the same condition it was given to me in.

11. Do you write in your books?

~ Not typically. I have a notebook that I keep that I use to write my favorite quotes from books in. I do highlight in my textbooks though.

12. Who do you tag?

~ All the book lovers that are out there :)

Current Reads February 2016

Hello people of the internet. It has been a long time coming, but I have a new Current Reads post for you all. It has definitely been a while since I have done one of these and that is because I attempted to read only one book at a time as opposed to my usual fashion of reading at least 3 books at once.

The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion - I had no idea what to expect when I picked this book up. I don't read jackets of books that have been recommended to me and I also didn't even look at the cover. That being said, I am about a quarter of the way through and I love this book. I love the main character, I love being in his head, I love that he is a he because I am always reading books from a female perspective. I really want to get to reading the rest of this and as soon as I go on Spring break next week that is probably what I will do. I may even post a "review" once I do get done with it.

Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson - On a much different and younger note, I am reading this for a Reading course that I am currently taking. My professor says that our time for reading anything other than children's literature is over. Of course she wasn't serious, but I do need to get through a few more books like this one if I plan on actually becoming a 5th grade teacher. I had seen the movie adaptation for this book years ago when it had come out, but I am happy that I am actually getting the chance to read it now. This book is on a lot of "banned books" lists for different districts due to it dealing with the death of a child, but this book is definitely more than that.

Just Listen by Sarah Dessen - One of my favorite books from her. I have read this a number of times, but I do enjoy an "easy-read" every once in a while and that is what her writing is for me. It allows me to get into the characters and read just for the pleasure of reading and I find that rare. This particular book does deal with some heavier topics, and I think that is why out of all the books I have read by Dessen this is the one I always come back to.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling - I am still working on reading all of the Harry Potter books and now that they have announced an eighth book I am even more motivated to get through them!

One Brand Project Pan - Maybelline Update #1

Hello lovelies, here is yet another overdue update on one of my project pans that I currently have going on. This is a one brand project pan that I chose Maybelline for since I have the most products from them and it offered a good variety of products.

What I have finished:

My goal for this was to hit pan on the Nude Glow shadow and I did just that. I kept at it till it was a decent sized pan, it is enough for me anyway. This is a really pretty peachy, rose gold type of shade. When I wanted to make sure the pan was a little bit bigger before I took the picture I actually used this as a highlight on my cheek bones. It turned out really pretty and I can imagine going back to that in the summer when my skin is a bit tanner.

Fit Me concealer - I didn't mark this right when I first started and I didn't realize it until I actually had it standing up straight and I could see through all the sides that I could. I won't be surprised if this is gone on the next update because I have to dip back into the product underneath each eye and on my face whereas before I could cover everything without having to do so. I forgot how much I love this concealer and how lightweight it feels underneath my eyes.

Color Sensational lipstick in Nude Lust - I need to try to use this more often because I don't feel like I reached for it as much as I should have. Hopefully there will be more progress on it for the next update.

Babylips in Peach Kiss - Definitely didn't get through as much of this as I thought I would have. I am going to make it the only lip balm I focus on while I am at home, but the problem with this one is that it isn't very moisturizing and because it has sparkle in it there is always some left on my lips. I'll keep trudging on though.

Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze - I only used this once or twice since the intro since I was focusing on another for my Finish 14 by Fab. 14 project pan in Barely Branded, but I am excited to get back into it. This is my favorite color tattoo and I love that this is really easy to use on its own if I don't have time to actually do much else with my eye makeup. Remember my goal is to only hit pan with this.

There you have it. This is a small project and I like that it is kind of low stress with the products since I do actually enjoy using all of these. I did put myself on a time limit and I am questioning whether I will get the lip stick done in that time, but I am not too worried about it.

Goals for the next update:
Finish Fit Me concealer
Hit pan in Bad to the Bronze.

Love to Project Pan!!! Finish 14 by Feb. 14 Finale

Hello lovelies and Happy Valentine's Day! It has been a long time coming, but we have officially made it to February 14 and this project is done and over with! I have never done such a long termed or large project. I want to give a shoutout to Kristen (KristenKay) and Bethany (GlamourWithGrace) for coming up with this project. It was definitely a challenge and I like to take on challenges so I am happy that I took part in this alongside so many others.

Products I have finished previously:
Update 1: None
Update 2: Benefit Porefessional primer, hit pan on The Balm Nude Dude single in Flirty, Rimmel Scandaleye in Nude.
Update 3: Noyah Desert Rose lipstick, Maybelline Babylips in Grapvine.

Products I have finished this time round

Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation - man oh man am I happy to be done with this! I have such a love/hate relationship with this product. There are days where I feel like I have it figured out and it looks amazing and then there are days (most days) where it just sat on top of my skin and wore off terribly. I felt like because it never actually meshed into my skin it was so easy to wipe away if I accidentally touched my skin, which is something I do a lot. I am happy to be through with one foundation and am ready to move back into using bb cream. I honestly prefer it for daily use since it is much less work.

Mary Kay lipgloss in au Naturel - I didn't actually get through all of this. I was using it after the last update and then it just kind of went bad. It smells funny and I didn't want to risk still using it on my lips. I am happy I used as much of it as I did though because otherwise it would have gone bad with so much product left in it. I would consider repurchasing this once I get through all of my lipglosses because it has pretty good lasting power for a lip gloss and looks good on its own as well as on top of a lot of other colors. I loved pairing this with Mac Whirl to tone down the brownness of the lipstick.

Revlon Balm Stain in Honey - It was the product that I never thought would end! I didn't like the way this stained my lips to be a really bright pink. My complexion  just doesn't mesh with pink tones and so I am working on getting them out. The product was nice but I have others that I would purchase over this.

And now onto all the products I didn't finish....

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded - I used this so much this month and although I can see a difference when I open it, it wasn't enough to make a new mark. I began using this not only as my base lid shade but as my face highlight as well. It was pretty that way, but a little more natural compared to the Benefit Watts Up that I had been using for a while.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Brightener - This didn't get finished, but I did use more than half of what I started with. I wanted to finish so I can get into the new one of this that I bought in a more natural for my skintone shade, but I am so proud of the progress I did make.

Benefit Watts Up highlighter - I didn't use this more than once this month because I figured there was no way to finish it up or even reach half way and I wanted to put more of a dent in the Color Tattoo, so there is no progress. This is a gorgeous highlighter though so I have no problem with the fact that I didn't just burn through it for the sake of the project.

Pacifica eyeliner in Fringe - Very little progress was made on this because I am so over using it. I am not a fan of it on my tightline because it transfers to my waterline and if I intentionally put it on my waterline it smudges underneath. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone and I hope I can use this up in some way to get rid of it. I am considering trying it out in my brows to see if that would be a way to get through it.

Trestique Mini Matte Lip Crayon in Nantucket Nude - I really worked hard on this, but this is like the product that refuses to end. I swear it rejuvenates over night.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye - I stopped using this I think over a month ago. I wasn't seeing any actual progress and so I chose instead to focus on the age rewind concealer instead. I will probably get back into this concealer again later on in the year, but I am just not a fan of how heavy it feels under my eyes.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer - Really wish I could have gotten through this. I wouldn't purchase a full size of this, but I do have plenty of sample sizes to use up.

Well there you have it. I finished 7 1/2 products total and I am really happy with that. Especially considering that I actually finished the products up completely and it isn't just something where I hit pan and thats it. I would definitely consider doing this project again, maybe with less challenging products next time though!

Project 15 Pan Update #1 (Meant to be up on the 25th)

**Disclaimer: This should have gone up on the 25th of last month, the photos were taking then.**

Hello lovelies, I have an update on my Project 15 Pan. For those of you who do not know, I am working to finish 15 of the 17 items I have picked and once I do that I will reward myself with a 3-month subscription to Boxycharm. This project has a mix of makeup, skin care, and hair care. Lets get right into the products I have finished up or made it to my goal on!

I hit pan on all three of the shadows that I wanted to hit pan on!

Wet n Wild in Brulee - I used this to set my eye shadow primer. It doesn't change the color much and is a nice browbone highlight shade for me, so that is how i got through it pretty quick. The pan is actually even bigger now.

Elizabeth Mott in Champagne - Gorgeous all over the lid shade as well as inner corner highlight. It is a rose gold kind of shadow.

Colour Pop in Hanky Panky - I hadn't expected to hit pan so quickly. I had heard that the pans were pretty shallow, but I guess you get what you pay for and they aren't too expensive. I wouldn't repurchase one of these matte ones again though. I don't feel like it is worth it since I end up just using it kind of like a base for my transition shade.

Now for the products that I still have remaining.
ELF Brush Cleaner - You can't see the mark but it hasn't moved much anyway. I need to remember to use this a little bit more.

Simple Micellar Water - I've been working through this at a decent pace. I don't use it to remove my makeup so it may take me longer to get through since it isn't an everyday use type of thing.

Doo Gro Mega Thick Growth Oil - I used this twice and got through a good amount of product. I never actually have time to put this in my hair so again it might be a slow moving product.

Calvin Klein Endless Euphoria roller ball - I am not a fan of this so I have made the tiniest progress. I am thinking about just decluttering it and counting it as one more product finished.

Mario Bedescu Facial Spray - I got through a lot of this simply because I was using it to wake myself up. I needed to get used to waking up early again before the semester started and spraying yourself in the face does the trick. I don't think I will have as much progress next time, but I am happy I got through as much as I did already.

Soap and GLory Hand Food - I miss-marked this because I am actually far lower than this, there is just a massive air bubble in there. It is starting to smell off and I really need to get through this.

Garnier Black Head Eliminating Scrub - I used a decent amount of this. I like it well enough so I am in no rush to get through it.

Be Fine Daily Moisturizer - This is the most liquidy moisturizer I have ever used. Its alright, but I just want to be done with it.

Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair deep conditioner mask - I wish I had more time to actually put this in my hair. It smells so good and makes my hair feel really nice.

Wet n Wild Contour Palette pan highlight shade - This powder is not going anywhere. I use it everyday to set my concealer, but the product just won't budge. I can sort of see the pan shape underneath, but that is the same for the contour side and it has been that way for a while.

Covergirl lipstick in Rush - Haven't gotten much use out of this this month, but I hope to use it more in February when I am done with a couple of lip products for my Finish 14 by Feb 14.

CVS Brow Pencil Sample in Taupe - I use this in the first third of my brow because it is too light otherwise. It may take a little longer to use because of that.

Evelyn Iona cream blush in Ash - You can't tell, but I have made the tiniest bit of progress with this. It is going to take forever to get through because you don't need much of it. Also I keep forgetting to put it on before my face powder. When I do though it makes my blush last all day.

Not pictured Elf Blushed/ Bronzed duo that I had meant to finish the blush in. I have decided to get rid of this product. I am tossing it out because I don't feel comfortable using something so old on my skin, and it really wasn't all that expensive so I don't feel guilty about it. I had initially intended to swap it out for the Kat Von D lipstick in Lovecraft, but have since changed my mind. Because I am getting rid of it out of my collection that seems reasonable enough to count it as a product finished for this project.

Well there is my progress after one month of use. I am excited to see what else I can finish in the next month and hopefully I will have that update up actually on time! 4 out of my goal for 15, well on my way to 3 months of Boxy Charm!

Project Ipsy Month 2 Update

Hello lovelies, today I have for you my Project Ipsy update. In case you didn't see my original post, I am doing this so I can make sure I am getting use out of the things that I am getting monthly...especially the things from 2013. Over this past month I finished 5 products (I forgot to take a picture of one of them because I repurposed the container).

Absolute Makeup Wipes - These were really heavily fragranced and I don't really like using makeup wipes so I am happy I was able to just get through them.

Noya Cherry Lip Balm - This was moisturizing, not something I would look into purchasing though.

Hey Honey Take it Off peel off mask - I enjoyed this. I don't know that it actually did anything for my skin, but I really enjoyed the peel off part.

Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk - If it wasn't for this stuff I probably wouldn't have gone through the makeup wipes. This did absolutely nothing. It kind of just smudged everything all over the place and left a film over my face. Makes me weary of trying anything else from the brand.

Balanced Guru Balm me Up body balm (not pictured) - this was nice I guess. It had a weird texture, it exfoliated and loitioned up my skin at the same time. I don't know that I would seek out purchasing it strictly for the fact that I was not a fan of the scent at all.

Now onto the products I will be working on this month...

NYX blush in Dessert Rose - I will use this again this month but after that I will probably put it away since it isn't really a springy shade. This is so pigmented that I don't see ever getting through it unless it is the only thing that I use, and well I like to switch up my blush quite a bit.

Sexy Hair Spray Clay - I have had this around for so long since I really didn't need it. However over the past couple of years my hair has changed a lot and I actually need a bit more texturizing when I curl my hair. I am about a third of the way through this can.

Mary Kay at Play Jelly lipsgloss in Teddy Bare - I have literally used this once. I don't know if I will like it or not, but since it is essentially clear it shouldn't be a problem for me to use. Sometimes I like a highlighted glossy lip look and this would be nice to do that with.

em michelle waterliner in Turquoise - I have made a bit of progress on this, but I am not the biggest fan of the quality of the pencil. It is called the waterliner but doesn't show up much on my waterline. It also kind of emphasizes my undereye bags and that is just not a cute look. I will get through this though, even if I have to put it away after this month and bring it back out to work on later.

Chella Ivory Lace Highlight Crayon - I think if I actually use this everyday I would have seen more progress with it. I use it pretty much as my inner corner highlight base, sometimes as my browbone highlight. The order I do my makeup in makes that not as realistic as just the inner corner though. I also don't need to sharpen this too much, so it might take me a while to finish it up, but I like it so I don't mind.

Pacifica eyeshadow duo in I don't know what because I am not around any of my things right now - I gave the Pop Beauty Trio to my sister because she anted it. I was really close to hitting pan on the highlight shade in it though. I am hoping to hit pan on the lighter shade in this one. It is a pretty white with gold shimmer in it. I really like this as an innercorner highlight over the Chella crayon and it lasts really well there.

J Cat Lip Crayon in Caramel Mocha - This is a nice peachy color and I think I will get a bit more of use out of it once the Spring comes. I also took this out of my purse because I didn't think I was getting as much use out of it that way. It is an easy quick option for something other then my usually mauve shades.

Bare Minerals - Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Get Ready - I am in no rush to get through this, but it would be nice to finally get it out of my collection. I'm not the biggest fan of the color, but the formula isn't terrible.

dr. brandt Microdermabresion Skin Exfoliant - This is a smaller sample and I don't think it would take too long for me to get through it.

Lee Anni Eco 3 in 1 - I actually threw this out. I tried to use it after I took these photos a week ago, and the smell was not the best. I thought maybe that is just the product since it is a more natural one and I hadn't had it for that long, so I tried it on my face. It didn't sink in and I really couldn't handle the smell so I wiped it off and washed my face.

So I am going to only work on 9 products this month. I have a lot of ipsy products in other projects as well as me just using them on my own, and now there is a running total of 13 out of 91. I am on the right track with this and I am happy that I can work through these products. Also that moisturizer taught me that I really need to get through these products a little earlier so they don't go bad on me.

Sometimes I Make Impulsive Decisions...

Hello lovelies.....well I jut made the decision to combine my blogs. I felt like I was putting more effort into one over the other, and well if they are in the same place it would just be easier to control and manage all of my posting. To be quite honest, I don't really care if people will get upset or stop following me because they only followed me for the specific topics that were on my blogs separately. I love books and I love beauty and I wanted them to be in the same place. The posts from my other blog have all been imported into this one thanks to this post here and it really wasn't hard. They still appear with their original dates on them. Anyway I hope that this is something that will appeal to more than just me because I want this to still be a place where beauty and books are celebrated along with some of my random thoughts as well.

Hope you all have a good night and I look forward to putting more content up that will really represent me as an individual who sees things not in small sections all neat and orderly, but as a huge mess of things. I say that looking at my desk that has 2 books that I'm currently reading as well as my makeup.

P.S. If you were following my "daily journal" posts then you must have realized by now that they are not daily, but I will try to do at least 5 per month. But with all the other posts I don't think that will be too much of an issue.

Finish 5 by Cinco De Mayo Intro.

Hello lovelies, let me start by saying that I am sorry for being so gone off the grid for about a week and a half there. School and work and home life have been a bit crazy and I needed to get those things under control before attempting to look like I have my life put together online for you all.

Anyway, I decided to go ahead and start what I think may be my last seasonal project pan for a while unless there is one that ends before June. I will be finishing up one other project (Finish 14 by Feb. 14) very shortly and thought that this would be a good one to start.

1. I have 2 eye shadows that I am going to count as one product in here and the goal is to hit pan. The first is the Tarte eye shadow in Macarons for you from the Away Oui Go palette that was the holiday set from 2014.  I really want to start working through these since they are older, but they are also really pretty. The second shadow I want to hit pan on is the browbone shade in the Sweet as Candy trio from Wet n Wild, It is pretty used and broken up so I don't think that will be too hard to hit pan on,

2. Jordana Easyliner for Lips in Rock n Rose - This doesn't have too much product in it so I am not too worried about finishing it up, but I am working on another liner for a different project so I don't know how fast the progress will be on this one.

3. Garnier BB Cream - I have had this for too long and it needs to be moved out. Having it in a project always helps motivate me to really focus on this and not go into all the foundations and bb creams that I would prefer to be trying out. I do like this product though so I am not too bothered by having it in this project.

4. Rimmel Scandaleyes in Black - This is the second time I have this in a project, but I missed using black eyeliner in my tightline. I have been using a brown one and it really isn't the same honestly. I want this one out so I can use other black eyeliners though because I am not too crazy about this one in particular as it transfers to my waterline.

5. Icing Plumping Lip Gloss - I made it my goal to really start moving my lip glosses out of my collection and I feel like this will be an easy one to get rid of, It is clear so it will go with everything, It doesn't really plump up my lips though. Like it doesn't have that tingling feel that plumping lip glosses have. I am actually grateful for that though so that I can get through it easier. It is basically brand new, I only used it once.
